Mom: “Camryn would bring home daily decodable books from school. We would read those 5-6 times and it never got easier the more we read them. She would struggle with a word on page 1 and if that same word was on page 3 it was as if she had never seen the word before. She got extra reading help at school, but she was still behind most of her classmates. She was in the lower third of her class.” Now: “Camryn says she loves to read now and I love listening to her read. We don’t struggle as much as we used to and now she reads with emotion.”
