Dr. Holthaus grew up in Douglass, Kansas. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Kansas State University in 2015. He then went on to graduate summa cum laude from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2019.
Dr. Holthaus is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Nebraska Optometric Association, and he has participated in optometric mission trips to Honduras. He is passionate about the medical optometry model provided at Heartland Eye Consultants and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care.
He is married to his wife, Kate, and in his free time enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his family and his Bichon Frise, Milo. Dr. Holthaus is excited to serve the Omaha community, helping patients achieve their best vision while establishing lifelong professional relationships.
